The Coastal Group specialises in a wide range of projects in coastal engineering. The group undertake investigation, planning, design, environmental assessment, detailed design and documentation and supervision within the coastal zone, involving natural processes, development proposals and environmental rehabilitation. The analysis of coastal processes and their impact on manmade structures is a key component of many projects.

As many projects undertaken by Patterson Britton involve statutory approvals, senior staff have extensive experience and knowledge of the approvals process. We also have a history of working both independently and within professional teams. We combine readily with other specialist consultants.
